Deactivated WW2 M1 Garand:

The Americans were way ahead of the game in early WW2 - they figured they needed a full size battlerifle in semi auto (though they had plenty of Springfield bolt actions, these were sidelined to make way for the M1 Garand), though the Russians and Germans and several other nations developed semi autos it was the USthat fully adopted the semi auto and scaled up production from the start. The M1 Garand, chambered for 30-06, was a heavy brute of a rifle, 8 shot top loading clip (later developed to the 20 round box mag for Vietnam) the M1 Garand was produced in huge numbers right through to the Vietnam war and remained in use for many years after and can still be found in cerimonial duties.

Always love a BAR, this FN made (made under license between WW1 and WW2) BAR is in good overall condition (looks like its missing the small breach dust cover) and comes complete with leather sling. These BARS have a slightly differen grip assembly which made them much nicer to fire (check out Forgotten Weapons excellent video`s on BAR`s on youtube), strips, cocks and dry fires and comes with detachable box mag and comes with correct certificate of deactivation.

We list details of our current stock by batch - due to our high turnover of the most popular models - so the images and descriptions fit that model, though there may be slight variations in stock grain/colour and metal condition - please bare in mind that some of the de-ac guns are almost 100 years old!

Deactivated Guns and the law:

Real-gun.com cannot sell deactivated guns to anyone under the age of 18. Though are not required to store this in a gun safe it is advised you store them in you dwelling, preferably in a locked cupboard. When transporting de-acs please keep them in out of site, preferably in a gun bag. Be sensible - don`t mount a .50 cal on the roof of your Jeep and take a drive - its fine on private land at shows but given the current climate please do not stress our Police any more than they currently are!
