Deactivated wartime pistols:

Deactivated wartime pistols from around the world - you`d be amazed how many there are...:

The Pistol, if you had to draw your sidearm you were generally in a lot of trouble, or shooting your own men for running away... most were pertty rubbish, many tales of exotic semi auto`s jamming (the German Ww2 HSC was once called the "jam-o-matic" by US forces when they checked out captured examples). To be honest, you really need the Colt .45 or Browning Hi Power before you get a really good semi auto, revolvers were so much better though even they are kind of funky at times....

Deactivated wartime pistols, raritie`s from around the world:

Please choose from the following examples:

Deactivated WW1 French mle 1892 Lebel revolver:

Deactivated French mle 1892 Lebel revolver in 8mm:

Another rare beast, a WW1 French MLE 1892 Lebel revolver in 8mm, these were very well engineered for the time, if a little two well made (lots of handfinished parts that made repiars a bit of an issue) and was the standard French WW1 Officers issue pistol. Condition is very good, grips are excellent, inerts shells in the chambers but do not eject, the deactivators been a bit over the top on this one and it does not cock or dry fire, comes with correct deactivation certificate.

Deactivated Steyr M1911:

Deactivated WW1 Austrian Steyr M1911:

Just a stunning early war semi auto - the Austrian Steyr M1911 (kind of similar action to Colts 1911) chambered a 9mm round and the engineers got around the tricky issue of mag design by making it top load/stripper clip only - like a C96 Mauser - sounds weird, but in WW1 it made for an exceptionally reliable 7 shot pistol. Used extensivly in WW1 by Austro Hungarian forces they were also re-issued to German troops in WW2. This one is dated 1912 and is in exceptional condition for its age, Chilean contract marked buts its this side of the pond so it never ended up there, cocks and dry fires and Comes with deactivation certificate.

Deactivated WW1 1912 dated Steyr M1911 with holster - just an epic pistol:

Deactivated Colt .380 Hammerless, Shanghai police:

Deactivated Colt .380 Hammerless - Shanghai Police marked:

Wow, one for the history guys here - a Colt Hammerless .380, but adapted and marked for the Shanghai Police. About 1000 Hammereless were adapted for use by the Shanghai Police in the interwar period at the intruction of none other than Fairburn and Sykes - the two British officers who were then called back to create the British SOE department due to there ability to dish out dirty deads - the infamouse double tap was one of theres... This ones in original condition, well worn and looks like it had a problem with additional barrel tensioner (Fairborn had a kind of spring detaent added to the left side of slide) as its been drilled out - guessing it jammed and has been dealt with in period. Fully Shanghai marked with its additional police issue numbers as well, as you would expect mag ejects, cocks and dry fires and comes with the deactivation certicication.

Deactivated WW2 1939 Italian baby Beretta:

Deactivated WW2 baby Beretta:

Deactivated WW2 baby Beretta that really does fit in the palm of your hand. Chambered for .22, its identical to a regular M34, just smaller, would have been used for hidden personal protection, spies, espionage - regular M34`s are small enough for regular concealment so this is a little bit special. Latest EU specs so the slide and trigger move but it does not cock, plus the mag ejects.

Deactivated WW2 Baby Beretta, perfect for concealment - doing business in back street bars in Tunisia...:

Deactivated Hungarian Frommer 7.65 pistol:

Deactivated Frommer 7.65 compact:

How do you describe a Hungarian Frommer? Made in Hungary up until the end of WW2 and issued to Hungarian troops in WW1 and WW2 they are just plain weird with a strange roating bolt mechanism - worked well enough but just can`t figure out why you`d build it like this. Condition is very good, nice deep markings, original grips, cocks and dry fires and comes with correct certification.

Wartime 7.65 hungarian Frommer - definatly a weird one...:
