Deactivated Boer War Webley mk1 .455 service revolver, British Army Marked:
Deactivated Webley mk1 .455 service revolver, Boer War eaxample with full matching numbers:
Here`s an early British Webley Mk4 .455 known as a beaks neck grip, undated but would have been issued during the second Boer War and is Brish Army marked. Deactivated Webley no.5 .455 "New Model Army" - just so rare:
Deactivated Webley No.5 .455 "New Model Army" circa 1885, great condition complete with priod holster:
Probably the rarest revolver we have ever had - a Webley no.5 (not to be confused with the later mk5) New Army Express in the big .455. Webleys first attempts at the familiar break open body were a bit of a falier, so in the mid 1880`s they released the no5 "New Army" revolver with a solid body and 5 and a quarter inch barrel, said to be the strongest, most reliable 6 shot revolver in the world - must have been reasonably true as most went to the Boers in South Africa to be shot at us.... they are just mega rare these days and this ones in good original condition and comes with a period leather holster (looks like an early Sam Brown Holster) and belt. Chamber reolves correctly and it cocks and dry fires, and correct EU/UK certificate of deactivation.
Deactivated Webley No5 New Model Army .455, 1885, periopd holster - you`ll probably never see another...:
